On January 4th and 5th Candace,
Georgia, and Ari stood in front of the Aveda store in Paseo Nuevo handing out
fliers and talking to potential volunteers about Hearts. The wonderful staff at
Aveda provided a 10-minute shoulder massage in exchange for a donation to
Hearts. At the end of the weekend, $167 was raised on Hearts’ behalf!
On January 31st Dawn, Amy, Chloe, Ari, and Tifani
had the pleasure of representing Hearts for the 1st Annual Non-Profit
Fair at Dos Pueblos High School. Approximately 200 students attended the event.
We hope to see many of these faces at an upcoming Volunteer Orientation! (Both
Dawn and Amy are alumni of DP where Chloe is a freshman and Ari and Tifani are
seniors.)
